Parent's feedback (Xiao En):
Before coming to Liu Education, Xiao En was a child with very few words. He did not respond to school work well, and parents were unable to tell if he understood what he was taught. His understanding to language and his ability to solve mathematical word problems is poor His grades are subpar, hand-eye coordination is lacking, and confidence is low. After he started to take classes at Liu Education, his math grades improved significantly. His understanding to logic also went up. He was able to ask the right questions to help him solve problems. Xiao En used to be very unhappy all the time. He would scream out of anger. He has then learned to communicate his needs. His stamina also improved. He used to be afraid to take the stairs, he can now dribble with both hands, I was very moved. Now he has improved his understanding of language, he was able to also advance in his school work to become come confident, and not easily angered. I am very gradeful to Branch Manager Li and Teacher Zheng. Especially in the beginning, I often felt that the teachers knew my son better than me. The teachers helped me understand the cause of my son's poor performance, how he can improve, and eventually help him achieved his goals. The VAS learning method really helped me and my family. And my son having a dedicated and patient teacher at Liu Education is a true blessing.

Parent's feedback (Xiaowan):
It can be said that Xiaowan's improvement at Liu Education is a series of surprise combined. How so? First, Xiaowan started VAS training in the second semester of 7th grade. Most children at 7th grade are set in their ways, it was difficult to change a them at this age. Fortunately, Director Liu and Branch Manager Huang took on this impossible mission. The result was great, they were able to accomplish the task, and it was beyond my expectation. Second, Xiaowan went to the Zhongzhen Middle school, which has many talented and capable classmates. Before coming to Liu Education, Xiaowan went to other cram school to learn mathematics, but the results were poor. No matter how hard Xiaowan tried, she was only able to score in the 70s range, far behind all the good students who scored in the 90s. After coming to Liu Education, they were able to pinpoint her weakness in Visual Integration and logic. After some traniing, Xiaowan was able to score an average of 85 points on her math tests, there were 3 occurrences where she even scored 100. Third, we originally did not expect as much, we just wanted to give Liu Education a try to see if they can help Xiaowan's math scores, help her to be less stressful in school. Little did we know, Director Liu and Branch Manager Huang were able to raise Xiaowan's math skills to be her strength, as well as improved her Physics and Chemistry grades. Xiaowan's teacher even suggested that she could be a Math major in the future. We sincerely thank everything Director Liu and Branch Manager Huang did for Xiaowan. Now that she is entering 9th grade with a busy schedule and heavy workload in school, but she still loves coming to Liu Education to learn from the teachers here. In the future, Xiaowan would still like to continue coming to Liu Branch even when she's in high school. Sincerely, Xiaowan's parents. 8/7/2012

Parent's feedback (Sisi):
Sisi was a very stubborn child growing up, when she encountered anything she didn't like, she would take on the "three "No"es policy; (1) do not cry, (2) do not cause trouble, but also (3) do not participate. I've accompanied her going to class ever since kindergarten. And whenever there is a Singing class or Group game she would always stand still without moving or joining the class's activies. We once suspected that she's a Asperger child. After coming to Liu Education and be trained for 5 months, her ability has improved drastically. On her kindergarden's graduation party, she sang and danced with her class on the stage, she even took the initiative to raise her hand and ask questions during class, which really surprised us. Her father and I can only say that "Liu Education is truly magical, and we've definitely made the right choice!"

Parent's feedback (Ganggang):
Ganggang was a child who suffered from cerebral palsy and was attending special ed classes. Until his last year in kindergarden, Ganggang's parents discovered Liu Education and started coming to receive training, it completely opened a new door for Ganggang and helped him improve significantly ever since. When Ganggang was first diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Ganggang's parents took him to every hospital, clinic, physical therapy center for him to receive rehabilitation. They tried every possible method, hoping that he will eventually catch up to other children his age. And through other parents' introduction, they found Liu Education. With Liu's professional assessment and consultation, they realized that the key to Ganggang's performance and progress is his "ability". Now that Ganggang is in first grade, he is attending a regular elementary school class. Within one year and a half, they witnessed his improvement on all aspects: from walking wobbly to walking a steady pace; from not being able to jump to jumpping 300-400 times without falling, to running on a field and running on stairs; from not being able to play puzzles, shuffle bricks, or draw to mastering all of them; all the things he didn't get to learn at his special education class such as congnitive understanding, phonetic spelling, and matchematics, he was able to learn them at Liu Education. He even scored 90 points on his latest final exam at school. To be able to continue his progress at Liu Education, Ganggang even moved to the school next to Liu's branch. Ganggang's father would say to Liu's teachers, "Ganggang is in the hands of Liu's teachers now. Without Liu Education, we don't know what we would do with Ganggang!" Every time Liu's teachers heard this, we would become teary eyed. It makes us proud of our mission and drive, and what we were able to do to help others. We are clear about one thing, we have been doing the right thing!

Parent's feedback (Honghong):
When Honghong was small, he was always smiling, very cute and adorable. As Honghong grew up, Hongong became very active, he was never afraid to jump down from high table. He was very stubborn, often cry to express his emotions, unable to express his needs any other way. We started to worry that his physical and mental development may not be coming along as well as the other children his age. When he was 3, I took him to Li-Hsin Hospital for a check up, trying to find out whether he has ADHD or other signs of autism. His doctor, Dr. Chen, would say to us with a laugh that it's too young to tell, and we shouldn't worry until he is older. We brought him back for another check up when Honghong became 4, Dr. Chen said to us the same thing, "it's too young to tell and we should wait until he gets older". Until he started class at a private preschool, the school staff did not notice any difference between Honghong and other children. Until we finally got into Chungli Elementary school's kindergarten class, the director and teacher noticed that Honghong was not able to calm down in class, and was walking around, unable to pay attention to teachers. The director suggested us to bring Honghong to the hosipital for another check up. The doctor told us that Honghong may have development slowness issue. What? Development slowness? When I heard that, I could not accept it. How can a child so adoable have such a condition? I was very saddened by this news. One time last year I talked to my sister's daughter (my neice) about children's behavior problems, she told me taht her client's child has the same isssues. But after going to Liu Education for half a year, her child had tremendous improvement. After hearing that story, I felt like I saw a ray of hope. I checked the internet and found out that there was branch nearby, which was great. I immediately scheduled an appointment with Branch Manager Sandy Sun. After Dr. Liu's professional assessment, we found like that Honghong's visual integration and sensory-motor skills were lacking. For example, he was not able to tell the difference between left and right, didn't like to clean up his toys, very easily angered, writing and arithmetic capacity development was very slow, and took a long time to eat, often dropped food on the floor, not slurred speech, and so on. After branch manager Sandy planned his lessons, he started class twice a week at Liu Education. With Teacher Wu's patience, Honghong started to improve and was able to speak much more clearly, less emotional, and solved his lack of focus problem. Honghong was able to participate in many physical trainings, such as pull up bar, dribbling, dribbling with both hands, crossover, throwing, catching, jumping and so on. His reaction was much better, his ability to draw lines (straight, horizontal, oblique) and control tools improved, he was even able to do double digit addition in math. Sincere thanks to Liu Education team and Teacher Wu. With your help, Honghong's ability to concentrate and learning ability both continue to improve, so that our family including Honghong's parents and brother are very happy. I hope Honghong's progress can bring other parents with similar child like Honghong much encouragement. After starting first grade, Honghong was not only able to keep up with school work, he even shared his recently scored 100 points paper with his teachers at Liu's. Honghong scill loves to laugh, but his smiles come with full confidence these days.

Parent's feedback (Linlin):
I asked Dr. Liu, "Linlin's physician diagnosed him to be autistic, we have arranged speech therapy and physical therapy in the hospital, but his improvement is slow like a snail. Is my child really autistic?" Dr. Liu said to me, "If you insist on following what his physician says, then I cannot help you. Whether the child is autistic or not, or labeling the child, neither will solve the problem. The only way to improve Linlin's performance is to help him improve his ability. The teacher then arranged 5 half-day classes a week for Linlin to come to Lin Education in the afternoon, so he could still receive treatment from the hospital in the morning. When Linlin first came to Liu Education, he was an adorable but quite child. He was only able to speak 1 or 2 words at a time, sometimes he even sound like he was speaking martian dialogue. He was very picky in what he eats, and had a hard time sitting skill during meals. He would run around all the time, and he is still on diapers most of the time, which really worried his mom. All of these things are areas he can will be trained on. Due to the significant gap in his VAS abilities, Liu's teacher was extremely patient. She relentlessly trained Linlin, designed individualized lessons for him starting with 2-3 words, and focused on improving Linlin's core learning ability. Linlin's mom still wondered, "Is my child really autistic?" Liu's teacher then increased his classes to 5 full days. Through accumulating capabilities little by little, Linlin can now start to take on more challenging sporting activities, phonetic spelling, writing simple words, drawing, recognizing advanced mathematical terms, matching numbers, etc. Linlin will now say "Good morning, teacher!" loudly every morning, and he will take the initiative to greet everyone he meets. All of this are results of his efforts. Linlin's mom shared that when dining out recently, Linlin would eat by himself, sit still next to mom, wouldn't run around the restaurant like before. Also, Linlin would wake up, take bath, and change clothes by himself. The content of his speech is much more rich and engaged. Linlin's mom still asked" Is my child really autistic?" After several assessments, improved grades and abilities, Liu Education recommended Linlin to synchronize with regular school, but Linlin's parents decided to continue to stay in Liu Education for Liu teacher's trainings. Linlin's mom said "My baby is going to become a gifted and advanced child at Liu Education!" Both parents trusted Liu Education's teacher and professionalism. Even the family doctors were amazed with Linlin's improvement. Physician's testimony says it all, "When I see the child's learning ability improved, through special tutoring and education, Linlin gradually became easier to communicate and understand, I saw Linlin's mom's satisfaction, joy, and smile, I recognized that allt he work work and effort are worth it."

Parent's feedback (Ruirui):
When my grandchild has yet to come to Liu Education, many of his abbilities were behind, he was getting treatment for speech and physical therapy at a hospital ever since he was 2 years and 8 months old. He also attended many one on one lessons at our own expenses, but the language and cognitive progress has been limited, so we were very disappointed and felt very helpless and puzzled. Hospital detected that everything is normal with Ruirui, but only not enough zinc intake in his system. We started giving him zinc supplement and multivitamins, but progress was still very limited. Watching him slowly grow up, Ruirui's parents felt like their hearts were bleeding, often holding Ruirui and their tears at the same time late at night. Until we found the physical therapist Mr. Jiang at Enhua Hospital in Tucheng, New Taipei City, Mr. Jiang told me that he used to have patients who improved significantly from going to the Liu Education Foundation in Taipei, so he asked us to give Liu a try. After getting this information, we came hgome and looked up Liu Education's address on the Internet, I discovered that there was a branch in Banqiao as well. I began asking whether any of our friends know someone who went to Liu's class. Another teacher as Tucheng preschool told us that she has many students who went to Liu Education as well, all the parents gave her positive feedback, the children who went also showed much progress. I immediately called Liu Education's Banqiao branch and scheduled an assessment and lessons. We found out that Ruirui's VAS abilities were lacking, especially his ability of visual integration and sensory-motor skills were seriously behind, so Liu Education started his lessons prmarily in sports and games. After 3 months of training, we found that he dares to hop on the stairs one level at a time, he can also walk slowly backwards, and won't bump into things when backing. When he went to kindergarden 6 months later, he can walk into the school by himself, and he's much more comfortable to play games and interact with people. Gradually he's willing to start talking, although not entirely clear, I can already understand his meanings, even his therapist said he improved a lot. It has been a year and a half coming to Liu Education, he can now sit clamly doing his homework by a desk. He used to cry everyone when he was given a pen. Physical therapist also notied that now he can throw, catch, and dripple a ball, pull up without any problems. Now that he is in first grade, he was adapting pretty well, he can go into this classroom by himself, I only need to follow from afar. The teacher said that he can sit obediently in class, taking care of himself going to the toilet and back without any problem. Even when occationally he got upset and cried, it only required a little comforting to make him feel okay. Although not perfectly clear in his speaking, he is now able to following the teacher in reading textbook. And he's able to read, write, draw at home. We are truly grateful of Liu Education's training, because they know where a child's learning difficulty lies, therefore they will train a child depending on his needs and areas of weakness. If these capabilities are not trained up, you will find the child often daze and will not be able to learn in school.

Parent's feedback (Yoyo):
I am a parent with a background of a teacher. When dealing with Yoyo's learning development issues, I spent much energy and went to many different medical institutions and organizations. By chance, I heard a friend mention Liu Education and its VAS methodology, out of curiosity, I decided to take Yoyo to Liu's for a learning ability assessment. After the assessment and talking to the branch manager, I learned about Liu's core mission and teaching methods, how loving and patient they are, and how they interact with children with signs of ADHD. Then I observered that Yoyo was very happy to learn in Liu's classroom, his reactions are the most real. When talking to Dr. Liu, I found that he Dr. Liu is very professional and advanced in education. Liu's teachers are also extremely professional, 100% respectful of parents, not only trying to collect tuition, but caring less about the child's learning ability and education. Now whenever I have a questions about Yoyo's learning capabilities or pace, I come to Liu's for advice, giving me a much more clear direction to teach Yoyo. After coming to Liu Education, Yoyo has become much more organized. He follows the rules in school, and his self-caring and self-managing ability has improved. He is able to judge what he should and should not do, whether doing a certain thing is right or wrong. For a parent, that progress along is more than enough for me to be happy and thankful. From Liu's VAS methodology, Yoyo learned to be independent to accomplish many things. Since his learning ability improved, to my surprise, his abilities to stabilize his emotions and manage his social interations have also enhanced greatly. I absolutely approve Liu's courses and trainings.
